Configure the basic settings that optimize navigation for each user.

Configuring basic features

Setting the volume

Use sndVolume to adjust the voice guidance volume of the navigation. The adjustable range is 0.0 (0%) to 1.0 (100%).

Setting the display mode

Set the default display mode. Kakao Navi provides two display modes: day mode and night mode. Use day mode when driving during the day or when you want a bright screen, and use the darker night mode when driving at night or when you want to save battery.

The day mode and night mode screens are shown below.

The default value of useDarkMode is false (day mode).

Configuring vehicle information

Use fuelType and carType to set the vehicle's fuel and vehicle type for more accurate guidance while driving. Check the supported fuel types (KNCarFuel) and vehicle types (KNCarType).
