[Maintenance] Directions API Domain Access and Network Configuration
Starting Friday, October 31, 2025, Kakao Mobility is upgrading Directions API server infrastructure. Complete the checks below before Friday, November 21, 2025, when legacy servers are scheduled to be retired.
Overview
Call the Directions API through the official domain (https://apis-navi.kakaomobility.com/).
If you use an IP address directly, or if you have pinned (mapped) a specific IP in your internal network or hosts file, your requests may fail.
Action Required
1. Send requests to the domain (required)
Use the official domain instead of an IP address.
https://apis-navi.kakaomobility.com
2. Check forced IP mappings (if applicable)
If the hosts file on your server or your network configuration forces (hardcodes) a mapping from the apis-navi.kakaomobility.com domain to a legacy IP address, remove that setting.
Legacy IP addresses to remove:
211.249.220.243121.53.104.135
3. Check firewall settings (if applicable)
If you use a firewall IP allowlist in a closed internal network, add the new IP addresses to the policy so that they are not blocked.

203.133.191.52211.242.13.42
Effective Date

After Friday, November 21, 2025, API responses may be restricted for requests that access the legacy IP addresses directly.
